Eminent Speakers from different fields shared their knowledge and experience related to the upcoming issues of women and facilities which can be provided to uplift the lifestyle of all socioeconomic statuses. Women experienced various inhuman situations and additional forms of discrimination regarding gender, career, marital status, age, education, etc. Women who are not aware of their rights can not avail themselves. Students of Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College & Hospital actively participated in this program.
Dr. Zora Singh Chancellor, DBU also congratulated all the staff and students to accomplish this program and encouraged them to do similar social welfare work in the future. Empowering women and raising awareness of women and men on women’s rights contributes to limiting the power of gender stereotypes that prevent women from participating fully in social, professional, and public life and deprives them of their full citizenship. There should be equal participation of women in politics, education, socio-economic issues. Equal access to education not only makes them aware of their rights but gives them the confidence to implement them in their approach.
