On March 29th, 2022, Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College & Hospital organized the 6th National Seminar on the Role of Panchkarma in the 21st Century at their campus in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab.
The main aim was to create awareness about the various roles of Panchkarma’s possibilities and future aspects in the 21st century. The inauguration of the seminar was done by the Hon’ble Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, Dr. Zora Singh. Dr. Tejinder Kaur, DBU, Dr. Sandeep Singh, President, Dr. Shalini Gupta, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Kulbhushan, Director (DBAC & H), and Dr. Shridev Phondani, Principal (DBAC & H), graced the event. Dr. Zora Singh said that Ayurveda is an ancient system for the healing and wellness of the human body and that Panchkarma is the most eminent branch of Ayurveda.
The most eminent and renowned speakers from different fields of Ayurveda from all over India participated in this seminar. Dr. Naresh Bhargav (Registrar Shri Krishna Ayush University Kurukshetra), Dr. Prakash Narboli, MD, Ph.D. from Bagalkot, Karnataka, Dr. Rajender Singh, Department of Shalya Tantra, Shri Krishna Govt. Ayurvedic College, Kurukshetra, Dr. Venu Malhotra, Professor & HOD basic principles, Dr. Sanjiv Kumar, MD, Ph.D., Assistant Director at Ayurveda Research Institute Patiala, Ministry of Ayush, Director CCRAS, and Dr. Mandeep Kaur, SDM College, Udupi participated in this seminar and gave detailed information about Panchkarma and its role in the 21st century.
