To make someone happy is the biggest blessing in the world. In Collaboration with Mission Excellence Club, the Department of Business Management & Commerce of Desh Bhagat University organized a Community Engagement Activity on the theme “EK KAPDA DAAN- Donation of Old Clothes” on 12th March 2022 at Amloh. 

The purpose of this event was to make students understand, how to make changes and happiness in the world by giving a little to someone who is in need. The Students distributed their old clothes to the needy. They actually put the Bible’s teaching in practice. According to Bible, “God has a special concern for those who are in need and if we really love God then we should be helping, serving, and giving to the poor.”The Students and Faculty Members visited Amloh and distributed old clothes to needy people especially laborers (Children, Females, and Male). Packed food like biscuits, chips, Candies, chocolates, juices were also distributed among them, etc. 

Dr. Rajni Saluja, Head of the department, delivered a vote of thanks and appreciated the efforts of Faculty members & Students at the event. Assistant Professors Mr. Manmeet Singh Saggu, Dr. Manpreet Kaur & Ms. Balwinder Kaur were the coordinators of the event. The Students of MBA, M.COM, BBA, and B.COM participated actively and enthusiastically in this event.
